SAP S/4 Technical Architect, Lyon

If you seek to make a difference on a global scale, working with next-gen technologies and the sharpest collaborative teams, then we could be a perfect match.  What you will do Within Volvo Group Digital & IT organization, we are looking for an SAP architect to manage the technical aspects of our different SAP S/4 manufacturing landscapes. The SAP S/4 Technical architect will ensure that the entire SAP applications on GTO Manufacturing SAP solution centre functions optimally in accordance with the principles established by Volvo Group Digital & IT. This role requires deep expertise of SAP S/4 Hana knowledge and Azure best practices along with, technical and functional vision to manage the platform efficiently. The main responsibilities included are: Leading technical activities needed on the SAP S4HANA platform (Support Pack upgrade, refresh, archiving implementation) Manage SAP Technical architecture analysis, suggest improvements and contribute to continuous improvements. Drive efficiency and implementation of best practices with respect to Azure platform for S4HANA. Document new integrations and store them in appropriate repositories (EA certification / Integration request) Be the main contact to the SAP Basis team (HCL) and ensure a regular follow-up of the security and performance aspects. Ensure Security role governance with SAP Security team (GRC) Coordination with SAP Center Of Excellence to get fresh updates on new technologies/features. SAP S/4 Technical Architect will be part of ROCQS team and work transversally across the different stable teams of our organization to ensure the consistency of our SAP applications: OCTO, TM1 and MTM4 and will contribute for continuous improvements through an Agile approach. The main responsibilities of ROCQS cover: Operations (Interaction with HCL for Infrastructure Delivery), Quality (To make sure that we have the right quality in our infrastructure and also application related improvements) & Support (support & integrate with all the stable teams in our organization) Who are you? Experienced Engineering Graduate specialized in SAP with over 8 years of experience mainly on SAP S4HANA as an architect or a technical lead. Passionate and oriented towards continuous improvement. Good experience working with PI, ILM, Azure and S4HANA. Prior working experience in global assignments will be an added advantage. Proficiency in English is mandatory. What’s in it for you?
