Regional Project Development Manager
About your Role: The Compression (CP) Service (SV) EU&AF Project Development Manager is responsible for driving our CP SV EU&AF recip growth strategy working closely with the EU&AF regional sales team & the CP organization. The role includes the key following responsibilities Coach and lead internal candidates (proposal engineers and PM) motivated in supporting the reciprocating repair and reciprocating overhaul activities Develop regional external network (ie : qualified local third party repair shops as well as on site local repair or machining partners) During bid phase and execution, coordinate CP internal department that will support the targeted repair and overhaul activities Support the regional sales team in identifying opportunities with non-served customers and securing existing customers This role will report into the Head of Service Region Europe & Africa for Compression and can be based in any Siemens Energy location in Europe close by or at Le Havre France or Duisburg - Germany. We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated, dynamic, customer-focused leader, dedicated to shape our Compression Service organization with a high focus on customers. How You'll Make an Impact to support our SV EU&AF recip growth strategy. Coach this team and our sales organization to understand the customer's needs and support the team in defining and maximizing the project scope. Together with recip Engineering, Quality and EHS team, develop, communicate and promote a regional external network in EU&AF ( qualified resources and partners needed for the project implementation, including subcontractors, temporary and permanent SE staff and own or 3rd party service shops) that will and extension of our existing capabilities. Coordinate with internal discipline (engineering, field services and service centers) to define the best value proposal. Support execution of the project with Recip Engineering & Quality and support technical issues in timely manner until end of warranty period (comprehensive work-packs, risk assessments ...) Continuously update market and competitive intelligence for the CP SV recip service business in the region. What You Bring A bachelor's degree in engineering with strong experience in compression aftermarket services with increasing responsibility and of relevant experiences in Project Management, Project Engineering and/or Engineering within a technical environment. Broad technical understanding of equipment and service / repair activities Analytical thinking, decision making, result oriented and good communication skills. Flexibility, creativity and an open-minded view. Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams and stakeholders.
