Additional Notes: o Location Flexibility: While a preference for in-market presence, the candidate could also be based in the UK. Our partners are looking for a highly seasoned Product Marketing Professional to lead efforts into entering the German Market. This role is a crucial aspect in Opening the Germany Market & standing up sales teams; this role will play a key part in their broader European Strategy. Key Responsibilities & Day to Day overview: · Market Expertise: Leverage your deep understanding of the German market to drive product marketing strategies. Must be fluent in German. · Product Marketing: Utilize your 10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing to create compelling messaging and product positioning. · Competitive Insights: Conduct thorough competitive market research, identifying and analyzing German email marketing competitors. · Competitive Analysis: Create battle cards and competitive summaries, including features and pricing, and analyze recent market entrants like Mailchimp to understand their successes and failures. · Analytical Thinking: Quantify and prioritize market opportunities based on potential revenue impact. · Market Launch: Prepare for the German market launch, including setting up a sales team for success and creating necessary enablement materials. · Deliverables: Develop detailed market and competitive landscape overviews, slide decks, and presentations for internal use to be viewed by executive leadership · Regulatory Understanding: Navigate the stricter data and privacy regulations in Germany, addressing key considerations and pain points for buyers.
