Kersia is a leading international pure player in food safety across the entire value chain (farms, food & beverage factories and restaurants). Our high value-added biosecurity solutions prevent diseases and contamination for humans and animals. Formally known as Hypred, Kersia took its independence from a carve-out of Groupe Roullier led by the private equity fund Ardian in 2016 (LBO). Since then, the company as grown organically and through more than 13 acquisitions from c.€90m to over €550m today. End of 2020 IK Partners replaced Ardian to continue kersia’s growth through a second LBO cycle. As part of the acceleration of our development and our various external growth projects, we are currently looking for: An M&A analyst intern (M/F)6-month internship based in Dinard (35) starting in January 2025 Mission: In a group under LBO, in close collaboration with the C-suite, you will assist the M&A manager in topics regarding M&A, strategic planning and post-merger integration (PMI) which include among others: The identification of new targets in line with the Group's strategy: screening, industry and/or geographical analysis, preliminary financial evaluation, etc. The execution of transactions participating in financial valuation (market / transaction multiples, DCF …), coordination of due diligence of external counsel and internal teams involved (industrial planning, regulatory affairs, finance, legal, human resources, etc.) Prepare ad-hoc analysis and summary notes for the CFO and CEO integrating the recommendations of internal teams and external consultants, to confirm or not the strategic and financial interest of an acquisition or a strategic decision Management of the integration of acquisitions (PMI): definition of objectives, creation of roadmaps, coordination of internal resources, tracking of synergies, progress report and presentation to top management Other ad-hoc analysis and competitive intelligence on transversal strategic projects at the request of top management Your ideal background: Master level (BAC +5 profile) finance or strategy related from a top-tier business school, engineering school or University Ideally you have at least 3-6 months experience in M&A, private equity, strategic consulting, finance, audit, or controlling Strong analytical skills, rigor, high motivation, commitment and ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues Good grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting Good command of Excel and PowerPoint You have good communication skills, an analytical and synthetic mind You are fluent in French and English, a third language is a plus
