EMEA Project Director - Corporate Interiors Paris, France Our client is a leading construction firm specializing in the design and build of high-end luxury corporate interiors. They are committed to delivering exceptional projects across the EMEA region, adhering to the highest standards of quality, sustainability, innovation, and aesthetics. Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director, with experience of building and leading a team, to build this brand new team in Paris. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully managing large-scale corporate interior projects (>20,000 sqm) across the EMEA region, from Workplace Strategy, to Design, Contractor Selection, and hands-on Project Management, through to Client Handover. Key Responsibilities: Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of various stakeholders across the EMEA region. Design and Build Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the full design and build process, with experience in managing projects from concept to completion in diverse cultural and regulatory environments. Client Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients across the EMEA region, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Proactively communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to clients, considering cultural nuances and language barriers. Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision and ensure it is accurately reflected in the final product, while adapting to regional preferences and requirements. Manage client expectations and address any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and client-side Design, Technical, and Build teams across the EMEA region. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks specific to the EMEA region, including cultural, regulatory, and geopolitical factors. Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure projects meet the highest standards of workmanship and safety, while adhering to local regulations and building codes. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of construction professionals across the EMEA region, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Financial Management: Monitor and control project budgets, considering currency fluctuations, local market conditions, and regional pricing differences. Qualifications and Experience: You must be proffesionally fluent in both English and French. Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management, with atleast half of this being in the Corporate Interiors sector. Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale construction projects. Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and industry standards, as well as local regulations and building codes in France, and ideally some other EMEA countries. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to different cultural contexts. Proficiency in multiple languages, including English and at least one other European language.
