Are you a talented Business Developer with CRO experience in Europe (France or Germany preferably)? Do you want to take your next challenge in a promising, pioneering, and growing Biotech active in iPSC (Induced pluripotent stem cells)? The position The Director, Business Development will be a highly motivated individual with proven sales experience within the life sciences industry (European market). This individual will be responsible for the direct selling activities of products and services, delivering annual revenue targets and focusing on establishing new and existing client relationships. This individual will develop a consultative selling approach offering a value proposition to the customer experience. The Director, Business Development will win opportunities by providing customers with intellectual input into project design, drawing on their own scientific acumen and pulling in other Technical Specialists when required. The market will recognize the Ncardia Director, Business Development as offering best-in-class scientific/product knowledge, an unmatched understanding of customer needs, and highly specialized service. A client-focused approach with strong customer service is key to our business. Your main duties and responsibilities are: Direct responsibility for growth of Ncardia products and services to meet defined revenue targets. Develop an annual account plan for assigned market segment and report quarterly progress. Responsibility for sales and revenue forecasting for territory. Develop and implement strategies for the growth of existing clients. Proactively seek out new opportunities for Ncardia products and services with new clients. Develop and maintain extensive market knowledge. Develop a detailed knowledge of competitors, their activities, and business risk. Maintain up-to-date and accurate records within sales CRM. Provide accurate sales reporting and forecasting of future opportunities. Engage effectively with other teams and individuals within Ncardia to drive inquiries forward and provide clients with the information they need as efficiently as possible. Manage customer expectations with effective communication - utilizing on-site discussions, telephone/video communication, and written communication. A focus on continual improvement of scientific knowledge and new developments. Communicate effectively with the management team by providing regular reports and forecasts on the progress made towards achieving your business targets. Contribute to Ncardia's future product and service development through effective communication of market trends and unmet customer needs. Represent Ncardia as a subject matter expert at exhibitions, conferences, and marketing functions. Qualifications and Skills Degree in Life Sciences preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific, business, or technical field. An advanced degree (MBA or PhD) is a plus. Significant business development experience in pharmaceutical biotech and/or CRO space. Proven track record in sales. Demonstrated ability to grow customer accounts. Capable of self-motivation and independence. Client-focused approach with the ability to build strong client relationships. Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a global environment. Fluency in English; French or German knowledge is a plus. Revenue growth within assigned territory. Increase in the number of new clients. Protect and grow within existing accounts.
